I am probably the last one getting addicted to 24; just finished my first 24 weekend.

24 is a series starring Kiefer Sutherland as federal agent Jack Bauer. The main concept is real time (as long as you add up the adds which would have been shown on TV), meaning if somebody says you got 10 minutes, in 10 minutes time will be over. This is a fun new experience. Especially as it does not get any boring, which you could have expected. A fast pace and surprising development of characters and story make this very addictive.

And this is basically the problem I have with the series! You cannot stop it. They are masters of cliffhangers and even when you start thinking, Hell, am I smart, foreseen it!, things usually do not turn out the way you’d expect them and in the end you just think Oh, my god!.

Story wise I cannot/must not write a lot, but as much should be ok: Jack Bauer is responsible for protecting the first black candidate for President David Palmer. He received messages, that he would not survive this very day. This treat of assassination is taken very serious by Jack Bauer and his team from the Counter Terrorists Unit (CTU) Los Angeles who are going to have a very long day of work.
